Flints

Does anybody have any experience with the manufactured flints? What I am talking about are the artificial ones. I would assume that they are more expensive but if they work well and last longer then it would be worth it to me. Not that I mind fighting with 200 year old technology but if I can make my life easier then I don't mind paying a bit more.

I have used them in the past and would not waste my money again. I sent what I had back for a refund.

I almost expected someone to say that, I mean if they were that good then everybody would be using them. how much were they and how long did they last? where did you get them?

I got them from Dixie a long time ago. At the time I think they were about $4.00 each. Some lasted one hit and then exploded others a weekend. All the RNR in the area tried them and we all sent them back. If you want to spend money on something give me the money and I will sing you a song. It would be just as good as the flints.

haha no im good thanks, it was more out of curiosity then anything. I guess its like all things in life that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Im too busy throwing money away on my POS VW to worry about finding anything else.

Give me the money and I'll spend it on beer and to hell with the flints.
