"1 January [1815]
My New Years day not very auspicious, being very ill from my old disorder - dysentery. Marched to Church, however, before breakfast."


So really, when you think about it, perhaps they had global warming back then! :^-
One thing's for sure, today's flu seems a lot like yesterday's dysentery. :^+
Feeling crappy is feeling crappy,. no matter what name you give it. lol.
