Crysler's Farm

Although not at the battle of Crysler's Farm on November 11th 1813, the Glengarry Light Infantry Fencibles will be going home this weekend to defend King and Country from the invading Americans. The event will be taking place at Upper Canada Village between Morrisburg and Cornwall Ontario.

Schedule of Events

Sat. July 8
  • 9 a.m. - All Day - British and American military camps open to the public; period artisans and merchants' encampment open to public.
  • 1:30 p.m. - Battle Re-enactment - Canada is invaded!
  • Dusk - Battle Re-enactment inside Upper Canada Village - Canada is invaded!
  • Throughout the Day - Children's Militia Musters and military music.

Sun. July 9
  • 9 a.m. - All Day - British and American military camps open to the public; period artisans and merchants' encampment open to public.
  • 1:30 p.m. - Battle Re-enactment - Canada is invaded! Will we become another state in the republic?
  • Throughout the Day - Children's Militia Musters and military music.

They alternate events every year, and this year it's the Revolutionary War. We'll be there next year!
