I have been fortunate enough to have read many of Mikes recommendations. I especially have enjoyed the works of both Donald Graves & Robert Malcomson (whom I have had the pleasure of meeting in person).
Here are a couple of others that may have been overlooked.

The Invasion of Canada 1812-1813, Pierre Burton

Flames Across the Border 1813-1814, Pierre Burton

Here's one I got for Christmas,
For Honours sake: the war of 1812 and the brokering of an uneasy peace.

The Destroyer

Post by pud » Tue Aug 21, 2007 6:47 pm

A wee bit fictional, but good. Done by a local Fort Erie native. As follows:

The Siege of Fort Erie 1814: The Destroyer (An historical fiction novel by Earl Norman Plato U.E.). E.N. Plato Historical Publishing. Fort Erie, Ontario. 2000.
