Yes, Glens.
That first battle on your T-shirt was for real even though you won't find it on a modern day map. French Mills was the target of the first raid into New York by the Glens in Nov of 1812. It's been renamed Fort Covington - in honour of the American officer who was killed at Crysler's Farm in 1813. To find it travel south-east from Cornwall, through the Akwasane Res and it's the first little town you'll come to. A historical marker is on the south side of the road where it crosses the Salmon River. No casualties for the Glens in a very successful raid by the British.

Glad you reminded me,.I started working on the French Mills story for the web's home page about 6 months ago and never returned to it. I'll finish it off tonight and then send it to you and Bill for approval.
Cheers,
Pud
